English Language Courses
Our objective is to give you English language courses to help you speak great English.
As well, we give free promotional lessons. We give you a free course book for English language courses if you book for more than 5 weeks.
Your English language courses are taught by qualified English teachers. They are kind, friendly and enthusiastic and are here to help you communicate in English well.
We have full and part time courses available for you to choose. We test you on your first day to put you in the correct class, do regular tests to see your progress, and support and guide you.
You will study on average with about 8 or 9 other students. In summer, this can be up to 19 in some rooms, and 15 in others.

Afternoons: 12:30 onwards for intensive, exam and business courses

5 mornings
- This course will help to develop your main skill areas - speaking, listening, writing and reading with an emphasis on developing your speaking (accuracy and fluency) and listening competences. You will learn how to improve your English pronunciation and extend your vocabulary including “real” English. You will study aspects of grammar relevant to your level and consolidate your present knowledge. You will study individually, in pairs, and in groups. By working with other students to discuss a wide variety of topics, you will feel more comfortable and confident speaking English. This is a modern approach to teaching to help your achieve your objectives.
- In addition, you will be helped how to improve your language learning strategies to get the most from your course.
- You will receive a certificate on completion of your studies provided attendance is strong.

- Classes in the afternoon are generally smaller.

- Designed generally for short stay students who wish to learn as much as they can in a short period of time.
- Classes in the afternoon are generally smaller.
- This course will help to develop your main skill areas - speaking, listening, writing and reading with an emphasis on developing your speaking (accuracy and fluency) and listening competences. You will learn how to improve your English pronunciation and extend your vocabulary including “real” English. You will study aspects of grammar relevant to your level and consolidate your present knowledge. You will study individually, in pairs, and in groups. By working with other students to discuss a wide variety of topics, you will feel more comfortable and confident speaking English. This is a modern approach to teaching to help your achieve your objectives.

- You are able to choose when you come to class – morning or afternoon

The course has 2 components
- 1 General English – 15 hours a week (see above)
- 2 Private 1 -1 lessons
The private lessons allow you more time with your teacher to focus on areas of English in your specialised area. You may simply want to study more grammar in more detail with just your teacher’s attention. We can organise a private course around your needs.
5 mornings and 3 afternoons
Level – minimum intermediate
This course has two components
- 1 General English 15 hours a week (see above)
- 2 Business English 3*3 hour afternoons a week
This course helps you to improve your language skills and learn to use them in real business situations. The course covers a broad range of business topics and learn essential business communication, vocabulary and grammar, at the same time as improving your reading and writing skills - all in the context of modern business issues.
5 mornings and 2 afternoons
Level – minimum intermediate
You will receive a certificate on completion of their studies provided attendance is strong. Your IELTS scores will be sent to your preferred address.
The course has 2 components
- 1 General English – 15 hours a week (see above)
- 2 IELTS preparation 2 * 3 hour afternoons a week.
- focus on the four main skills tested (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
- familiarise you with the format of each section
- develop strategies for dealing with each paper
- practise the kind of questions used in the test
- focus on the main parts of the interview
Would you like to learn English and have a holiday at the same time? We now offer you a
complete
package for 2 or 4 weeks all year. Included are 15 hours of English
lessons each week, accommodation, a free bus ticket, full and half day
excursions, tickets to local attractions, school pub night where first

Our language programme for young adults (16-19 years) is suitable for independent mature-minded students. Students have the freedom to explore Bournemouth on their own. There is no supervision but our IP Counsellor is available if some problems arise. Of course, he will give you all the necessary information about your course and the city in a Welcome-Meeting and organize a Town Walk. He will also organize a visit to a disco once a week and offer additional trips and activities on request. Besides this, 15 hours of English lessons each week and self-catering accommodation in en-suite single rooms in Cranborne House are included in the package. Half-board accommodation (breakfast and dinner) is also available (and obligatory for all minor students). The programme is on offer from 30th June - 1st September 2012.

If your course starts on a public holiday you will start on the Tuesday. There are no refunds for classes not taught on public holidays.
