Course Interruption
Where a course has been interrupted due to the student having to self-isolate due to Covid-19, online learning will be offered, or a refund for the face to face lessons will be issued. Accommodation fees cannot be refunded after arrival.

Minimum number of student per class

Minimum number of participants for the General English Course (also online) is 4 per class. If the number of students is
3, we would deliver 15 lessons/11.25 hours per week
2, we would deliver 12 lessons/9 hours per week
1, we would deliver 10 lessons/7.5 hours per week
This does not apply for any add-on course. Add-on courses will be run regardless of the number of students per class.

Visa application and Visa refusal

Please contact the embassy or consulate of the destination country you wish to visit prior to departure for detailed information. The visa application and approval process can take some time, so it is best to apply for a visa well in advance. We will send you an invitation letter per request when at least the deposit amount has been paid. Should the student require the original invitation letter sent by express courier, the service fee for this service must be paid by the student. If a visa application is rejected and we receive written evidence at least 10 working days prior to arrival, we will refund the fees received in full, less an administrative fee of 85 GBP. Where we receive this evidence, the refund will be paid to you within four weeks of your providing us with bank details and signed authorisation that the refund should be paid to that account. If written evidence of a refusal is received less than 10 days prior to arrival then the refund will be paid less the administrative fee and the following non-refundable payments: 100 GBP.
If a visa is refused because the student has presented forged or falsified documents to the Embassy as part of his/her application, no refunds will be made. In case a visa invitation letter has been sent via courier express, this fee is also non-refundable.

Shortening a Programme

If you wish to shorten the length of your programme once you have started, fees cannot be refunded.

Non-arrival, late arrivals and absences

If you fail to arrive, arrive late, or are absent during your programme, a refund will not be granted. Periods of absence may not be made up with a free extension at the end of the course.

Transfers on arrival / departure

Please note that it is your responsibility to provide us with your arrival / departure details a minimum of 14 working days prior to transfer. If your arrival / departure details are not provided a minimum of 14 working days in advance, we may not be able to provide the transfer as requested.
For homestay accommodation: Please arrange your arrival in and departure from the course centre between 6.00 am and 24.00. If you do not meet these times, kindly arrange an alternative accommodation for the first and/or last night.
Should a student be delayed, the transfer company may charge the school a late charge, which FG Languages Ltd. will pass on to the student.
